Rachel is a specialised Reliability Engineer (MEng(Rel) – UMD) and Asset Manager (GradCert(AM) – IQ-AM) with ten years experience in the Royal Australian Navy, conducting systems engineering, logistics engineering, maintenance optimisation and reliability analysis functions. Her foundation in engineering and economics (BEng(Hons) & BCom – USYD) has promoted an integrated financial and technical approach to asset management activities. Rachel is passionate about leveraging national and international standards and best practice techniques to develop bespoke management programs for complex assets.
In her public activities, Rachel is: Member of Standards Australia QR-005 Dependability Committee, Member of IEC TC 56 Dependability Committee
Rachel’s significant achievements in the field of Asset Management include:

Churchill Fellow for international research in reliability engineering for maritime systems.
